Warren Buffett announces that he will invest in Nubank

The company Berkshire Hathaway announced the investment in the Nubank institution through the purchase of Class A shares for 1,000 million dollars

The company that owns Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway, announced that it will increase its participation in the Brazilian neobank Nubank, which is very famous in the world of cryptocurrencies.

A recently circulated form shows how the investment group acquired Nu Holdings Class A shares, worth a total of $1 billion.

In the same way, Warren Buffett announced the sale of shares of the Visa and Mastercard funds transfer company, for a value of 1,800 million and 1,300 million dollars respectively.

The recent acquisition of Nubank shares could mean a change in the strategy of the famous investor, known for his cautious attitude towards digital assets and in particular towards bitcoin, which he has called “rat poison squared”.
