Virtus, an immersive virtual reality experience in Caracas

The place presents a mixture of fiction and reality where people will enjoy a theme park, they will be able to make three-dimensional drawings and chase dinosaurs

Virtual reality generates, through computer technology, an environment of scenes and objects of real appearance where users have the sensation of being immersed in it. That was precisely the idea that inspired Juan Carlos Trejo and his partners to carry out an undertaking where virtual engineering is the norm. “We wanted to found a more accessible space, giving way to immersive museums and augmented reality parks in Caracas.”

This is how Virtus arises, a disruptive place for the joy of the people of the world. Children from the age of three to grandparents can live an unlimited experience in the Los Galpones facilities, “whose spaces highlight the power of imagination, nature and culture.”

This theme park gives you the opportunity to be immersed in other places “beyond imagination”. In Virtus everything is possible. “We have a video game room to choose from an almost infinite diversity of topics such as Fortnite or PacMan, a creative area where three-dimensional drawings are made and also a theme park in the best style of Jurassic Park where dinosaurs can be fed and chased”, explained Trejo, director and partner of Virtus.

Art and culture in 3D

For her part, Astrid Kohn, another of Virtus‘ partners, explained that spaces can also delight in special moments that will complete the technological experience: “One of our most beautiful things is innovation. “You don’t have to go to New York, Tokyo or Las Vegas, virtual reality is the order of the day at Virtus,” she said.

The main objective of Virtus is entertainment, but they plan to develop a series of cultural and educational plans that allow complementing pedagogical and didactic content. “We offer cutting edge technology; immediate communication spaces, high-definition projections, high-profile sounds” and can be adapted or customized according to the needs of the users”, Trejo pointed out.

They are interested in providing a more comprehensive experience, which is why they will open a “memorabilia store” very soon, where they will be able to obtain elements or allegorical pieces to the park, virtual reality helmets or games “. Kohn indicated they will also have a lounge type restaurant to enjoy exquisite menus.

From Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., visitors can attend to be part of this other reality. Tickets can be purchased by entering www.virtusnext.com or directly at Los Galpones.
