Venezuela will receive financial support from the WHO

The country's vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, announced that the agency will send its contribution to combat the viral outbreak of the coronavirus

This Wednesday night, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez announced that Venezuela will receive financial support from the World Health Organization.

“Venezuela is within the group of countries to which the WHO will grant 2,000 million dollars to combat COVID-19″, Rodríguez said.

This announcement was made amid confirmation of new cases of people suffering from the disease, which have already exceeded 100 people.

It should be remembered that a few days ago, the Chancellor of the Republic Jorge Arreaza had declared that Venezuela had requested a loan to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), for 5,000 million dollars, which was rejected.
