Venezuela activated a tourist route for visitors that it will receive within the framework of the 65th edition of the Caribbean Series, the most important baseball competition in Latin America that will be held in Caracas and La Guaira between February 2 and 10, reported the mayor of the Venezuelan capital, Carmen Meléndez.
«The tourist route of Caracas is ready, with different options that will allow everyone to tour the capital city. We are going to launch this route with the 2023 Caribbean Series so that visitors can enjoy so many wonderful places, “she wrote on her Twitter account.
She added that “a great team” is part of this tourist proposal in which they intend to “show with love” the city that will host the tournament.
The Minister of Sport, Mervin Maldonado, assured that the country is ready to host the 65th edition of the Caribbean Series, which, he predicted, “will be the best in history.”
Venezuela has not hosted the competition since 2014, when it was held on the island of Margarita, and the last time it won this title was in 2009, in Mexico, thanks to Tigres de Aragua.
