Ukraine assesses its losses at $ 565 million

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denisa Shmygal assured that the consequences of Russia's acts of war against Ukraine are high

The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denis Shmygal, determined that the losses due to Russian aggression against Ukraine are valued at 565,000 million dollars, for which he has asked to strengthen sanctions against Russia after a meeting with his Polish, Slovenian and Czech counterparts.

In this regard, Shmygal called for more measures “against the aggressor country”, including the recognition of Russia as a sponsor of terrorism, the closure of ports and the embargo of Russian resources, as well as an international assistance and reconstruction plan for Ukraine.

During a meeting with the Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, of Slovenia, Janez Jansa, and of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala, the Ukrainian highlighted in a message on his official Facebook profile that this visit is “testimony of unquestionable support for Ukraine and its people.

“We expect support in terms of financing the reconstruction of Ukraine. The Polish Prime Minister has already said in the presence of the President of Ukraine that all schools, all kindergartens, all homes of Ukrainians will be restored after the war,” detailed the politician.

Shmygal thanked his Polish, Czech and Slovenian counterparts for their support of Ukraine’s membership in the European Union, as well as the decision to close the skies to Russian planes over Europe for their position to close the skies over Ukraine and for the dozens thousands of tons of humanitarian aid.
