Twitter works on a tipping button

The social network wants to give support to those people who are dedicated to creating content within its platform

Twitter is making progress in the development of a way to integrate monetization options, which take the form of buttons that, from the user profile, allow either to subscribe to exclusive content or to send money to content creators.

The social network announced at the end of February some of its plans to monetize the social network, such as the so-called “Super Follows”, a type of paid subscription that allows users to access exclusive tweets for $ 4.99 per month.

The feature will be able to be activated with a new dedicated button, as reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong shared on her Twitter profile. As she explains, for the moment the feature can appear as a small circular button or a larger button, with a black background.

In the images she published, another button stands out. In this case it appears an icon of money bills inside. As the developer explains, it corresponds to the tip feature to send money to other users from your profile through different platforms.
