Twitter will organize its conference in November

The social network announced that it will hold the developer conference on November 16 this year

Twitter will resume the organization of its developer conference, known as Chirp, which will be held next November both in person and online, and will serve as the framework for presenting the latest news and a contest on the best uses of the Twitter API platform.

Chirp Developer Conference will be held in person in San Francisco, United States, on November 16, where attendees will be able to follow the inaugural conference, technical sessions and meetings with the platform development teams.

The company will also broadcast the conference live and publish the different sessions after its conclusion, as reported by Twitter in a statement. Whatever the format, the company will share in this event the innovations of the developers, the opportunities it will offer and “some surprises”.

Along with the event, the company also announced a challenge, Chirp Developer Challenge, with which it will reward the best uses of the Twitter API v2 in the categories of content discovery applications, tools for secure conversations and applications for the common good.

Twitter first held its developer conference in 2010, albeit intermittently, with a new attempt in 2015 under the name Twitter Flight, which also paused until this new Chirp announcement.
