Twitter launches a pilot test of profiles for businesses

The option gives users the ability to communicate via text messages and voice calls

Twitter is working on a new version of the profile dedicated to business, through which they could offer information such as opening hours, contact details and addresses or allow communication through text and voice messages with customers.

The Twitter Business Profile is part of a pilot test located within the platform’s web application, in a recent public update, as reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong has discovered.

Businesses can apply to join this business profile. In it, they can include information such as name, physical address and contact options or days and hours of opening, which will be displayed publicly.

You can also select whether they allow customers to communicate with them via text messages and voice calls from the profile link.

The tool is very innovative for the social network who is committed to improving the platform with the use of new accounts whose main objective will be to impact potential customers, who will be the protagonists of Twitter Business Profile in managing their businesses.
