Trump “orders” its companies to leave China

A day before the start of the G7, the U.S.-China trade war seems to have broken out

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, assured that he will respond this Friday to the new tariffs that the Chinese government has imposed on American goods for a value of 75,000 million dollars.

Trump accused the Asian giant of stealing “hundreds of millions of dollars” from his country by misappropriating intellectual property and said it “orders” U.S. companies to evaluate an alternative to producing in China.

The president said on Twitter that he has ordered U.S. companies to start looking for “alternatives” to China “immediately,” including bringing their businesses back to the United States and manufacturing their products “at home.”

“I’m also ordering all carriers, including FedEx, Amazon, UPS and U.S. Postal Services, to search for and deny all Fentanyl deliveries from China.

Trump’s reaction came after China on Friday announced the imposition of tariffs on U.S. goods worth $75 billion as a countermeasure to U.S. tariffs.
