Trump assumed the presidency of the United States with radical announcements

Hours after assuming the presidency of the United States, Donald Trump revoked numerous orders signed by Joe Biden and made radical announcements on migration, tariffs, racial equity, health, among others

Donald Trump’s arrival at the White House in his second term is marked by a radical position on issues such as migration, racial equity, health, the application of tariffs, to mention just a few key aspects.

Trump’s inauguration was followed by announcements on the recovery of the Panama Canal, on which the president insisted that China is operating in the canal and “we did not give it to China, we gave it to Panama.”

The Republican confirmed the application of tariffs to Mexico, in light of which talks between both governments are expected.

In the early hours of Tuesday, there were other announcements related to the dismissal of presidential staff, starting with four specific positions but with Trump’s promise that there will be around 1,000 dismissals.

The media has reported with special attention the decisions to recognize only two genders: female and male, as a measure to dismantle the woke ideology; the withdrawal of the United States from the World Health Organization and the Paris Agreement; the signing of an order that will deny citizenship to the children of undocumented immigrants born in the country and the revocation of Biden’s order to remove Cuba from the list of states that promote terrorism, among others.
