TikTok now allows you to share text posts

By incorporating a text editor, the TikTok platform allows users to share texts on their accounts

TikTok has expanded the post formats it offers on its social network so that users can also express themselves through text, and with the same customization tools that are already used in videos or photos.

The platform has incorporated a text editor, which is accessed from the post options of the camera, so that users have “another way to express themselves.”

Text posts thus join videos, photographs, live shows, duets and Stitch, as the company explains on its official blog.

Like all other formats, text posts support customization with sound, stickers, and background colors, as well as adding location, enabling comments, creating duets, and more.

Creating a text post is easy. The user only has to go to the “+” button, then go to the “Text” option to create the desired content. Next, click to forward it to the text editor to write, make duets; add audios, stickers or tag locations. The last step is to publish the content to share.

The user has the Draft option, to save the texts, so that they can be edited at another time. Also, you can set the background color of the built-in selection. And you can’t miss the hashtags to link to trending topics.
