Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, would again be willing to include bitcoin as a payment method for those who want to buy their electric cars.
All this will occur, of course, according to Musk’s thoughts, when there is a use of clean energy by the miners of this cryptocurrency.
“When a reasonable use (~ 50 %) of clean energy by miners is confirmed with a positive future trend, Tesla will again accept payments in bitcoin“, said Musk on his Twitter profile.
Faced with this situation, the CEO of Sygna Magda Wierzycka accused the businessman of being one of the responsibles for manipulating cryptocurrency prices through the decisions of his company, for which he also requested the Securities and Exchange Commission of United States (SEC), to conduct an investigation in this regard.
Immediately, Musk responded by assuring that Tesla only traded 10 % to confirm that bitcoin could be easily liquidated without directly affecting the market.
