The implementation of a change to posts from unverified accounts on Social Network X restricts the number of posts to 50 per day. The limitations for these accounts also apply to daily replies, which are capped at 200.
The restrictions published in the Help Center “also affect direct messages, with a maximum of 500 per day, and followers: 400 followers per day and a maximum of 5,000 accounts followed; although these specific limits have not been modified.”
One of the main concerns regarding this change, which has been in effect since mid-May, relates to accounts managed by bots, whose functionality will be restricted.
The platform, owned by Elon Musk, has justified these limits by citing technical reasons, emphasizing that they will alleviate “the workload of internal systems” as well as “reduce downtime and error pages.”
