Saime published updated prices for Venezuelan passports in bolivars

The Administrative Service of Identification, Migration, and Immigration (Saime) announced the price in bolívares for the passport for citizens interested in obtaining one for the first time or renewing it.

Through its Instagram account and through the media, the Administrative Service of Identification, Migration, and Immigration (Saime) has announced the price of the passport in bolívares for adults and minors.

The local agency referred to the value of the document according to the exchange rate published daily by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).

Cost of a Regular Passport

The document for children from three months to three years old costs between 6,242.40 and 7,768.80 bolivars (+24.45%), or $120.

For children between 3 and 17 years of age and 11 months, the passport costs between 8,531.28 and 10,617.36 bolivars (+24.45%), or $164.

For those over 18 years of age, the price ranges from 11,236.32 to 13,983.84 bolivars (+24.45%), or $216.

Processing for a regular passport takes between 8 and 15 business days.

Express or authorized passport

In this case, to obtain a passport in record time, the fee for children from three months to three years old is 15,085.80 to 18,774.60 bolivars (+24.45%), or $290.

For children from three to 17 years old, the fee is 16,126.20 to 20,069.40 bolivars (+24.45%), or $310.

Finally, for citizens over 18 years of age, the passport fee is 18,207 to 22,659 bolivars (+24.45%), or $350.

It is important to note that for this option, the application must be made through the Saime website and processed at the Simón Bolívar office, located in Caracas. Delivery takes 48 hours.
