Pedro Sánchez will stand for reelection as the General Secretariat of the PSOE
The current secretary of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, declared this Saturday that he will run for re-election in the Congress of Seville
Pedro Sánchez, general secretary of the PSOE, announced this Saturday, September 7, that he will present his candidacy for re-election at the next Seville Congress as general secretary of the party.
Sánchez was enthusiastic and asked party members for new ideas to show that they are “two steps ahead of the Government of Spain.”
The announcement was made this Saturday during the Federal Committee of the PSOE, an event that also served to congratulate the president of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, and address issues such as financing, “defending a federal model.”
Sánchez declared: “We are willing to make new transfers of powers, recognize singularities and allow communities that wish to collect and manage more taxes, because it is consistent with our federal state, as countries like Germany and Canada do successfully.”
