Fevipan gets ready to offer the traditional ham bread
The Venezuelan Federation of Baking and Related Industries (Fevipan), through its president Tomás Ramos López, indicated that the baking sector is preparing to offer the traditional ham bread in preparation for the Christmas season
Tomás Ramos López, president of the Venezuelan Federation of Baking and Related Industries (Fevipan), pointed out that the baking sector is preparing to offer ham bread, a typical dish of the Christmas season.
Ramos López indicated that “this year we will have the joy of being able to enjoy with the family and have our ham bread at home.”
Regarding the cost of this typical Christmas dish in Venezuela, the president of Fevipan clarified that he has not yet estimated what it will be. However, he added that they will do everything possible so that the Venezuelan family has access to ham bread during the Christmas season.
He added that “the baking industry is so important in Venezuela that it represents the food distribution of almost 40 % of the food produced in the country.”
On the other hand, he highlighted that in the country there are 8,623 bakeries that create jobs.
