Panda Group installs bitcoin ATM at the Colombia’s border with Venezuela

Cryptocurrency users will coun on a point of sale on the border between Venezuela and Colombia, specifically in the La Parada shopping center.

This was announced by the Panda Group CTO, Typson Sánchez, who indicated that those who cross the border through the Simón Bolívar Bridge will be able to use digital assets such as bitcoin, bitcoin cash and dai.

“The first @pandabtm along with the Frontier between Colombia and Venezuela by @PandGroup has arrived at La Parada,” the CTO indicated through its official account.

The cryptocurrencies point of sale, installed by Panda Group, is located in the cell phone specialist, Ian Cell. Sánchez indicated that users will be able to buy and sell their cryptocurrencies using as reference the quotation in Colombian pesos (COP) of LocalBitcoins.

The cost of purchase is assessed at 10% over the price that is presented in LocalBitcoins, while the sale will have an additional 5% only.

At the Colombia’s border with Venezuela, a bitcoin ATM controlled by Athena Bitcoin is also operating; installed in collaboration with Panda Group in March of this year.
