Next iPhone models will arrive late due to health restrictions in China

Apple announced to its customers that deliveries of the next iPhone will arrive late to customers due to new health restrictions due to the resurgence of Covid-19 in Wuhan, China.

The technology giant indicated in a statement that customers will have to wait a little longer for the deliveries of their iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max “as a result of the impact that the restrictions imposed to contain Covid-19″ in the facilities that assemble the products in China.

Due to the sanitary controls of the authorities in China, the assembly plant located in Zhengzhou has been affected, where the operability has been radically reduced.

Given the concern that the Chinese government’s measure has generated, Apple is working together with its suppliers “to return to normal production levels while guaranteeing the health and safety of all workers.”

The demand for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max has remained high, beyond the problem that has triggered the delay in deliveries.
