NASA and Netflix have reached an agreement to stream live spacecraft launches and spacewalks, among other agency events, on the platform.
This new feature will be available to all subscribers, regardless of time zone, starting in late summer.
“For now, the partnership only includes live broadcasts, not the original documentaries that NASA produces for its platform. This means that if you want to dive into deeper stories about past missions or behind-the-scenes footage of space centers, you’ll have to keep visiting NASA+,” they clarified.
With this partnership, Netflix becomes NASA’s new hub for fans of spacecraft launches and related topics, thanks to live-streaming.
