The iPhone models that do not update to the iOS 18 version will no longer have the Netflix entertainment platform, although they will be able to access the current version.
This was announced this Monday by the platform, referring to the arrival on the market of the most recent iPhone 16, with its new operating system, iOS 18.
This launch “marks a new era for Apple users, since the platform cannot be used without iOS 17.”
On the other hand, Netflix will also stop working on older iPads. The company is sending users the notice through a pop-up notification within the platform.
The models on which Netflix will stop working are: iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus; the first-generation iPad Pro and iPad 5 tablets.
