Threads adds chronological feed for user posts

The social network owned by Meta will now have this function for followed users

Threads, Instagram’s text app, has been updated to add one of the most popular features on social media, the chronological newsfeed.

The app now offers users the ability to set up a ‘feed’ or news wall for the posts of the people they follow, which will also be displayed in chronological order.

This novelty, which the executive director of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, reported on his Instagram channel, has reached the application this Tuesday, both on iOS and Android. Translations have also been added.

Threads launched in early July, with a palpable lack of features and functionality found on other similar social networks, in response to changes introduced by Elon Musk to Twitter, now known as X.

Little by little, those responsible are announcing news. Recently, they reported the implementation of “stricter” measures in the frequency limits of the publications that appear in the ‘feed’ of users to prevent the increase in ‘spam’ attacks on the social network.
