The social network Threads, owned by Meta, announced the activation of parental controls to allow parents to monitor their children’s browsing time.
The new controls will go live this week. In addition to monitoring teenagers’ online activity, parents or guardians will have the option to adjust privacy settings.
Adults will be able to set usage limits, as well as activate “sleep mode” to prevent connections at night.
Another feature that Meta will activate on the social network is managing who tags minors in posts.
