Meta earned 12,115 million euros until June

In the month of June, Meta's profits reached 12,115 million euros, although they are 4.6% less than the same period for 2022

The group that owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp earned 13,498 million dollars (12,115 million euros) at the end of June, 4.6 % less than in the same period in 2022.

Regarding the income of Meta, these reached 60,645 million dollars (54,435.26 million euros), 6.9 % above the last year. In turn, the company’s costs and expenses increased by 10.48 %, totaling 44,026 million (39,517.96 million euros).

By branches, the group has reported a turnover of the advertising business of 56,599 million dollars (50,803 million euros) and a growth of 8 %. Regarding the augmented and virtual reality division, ‘Reality Labs’, the company’s data shows revenue of 616 million (552.92 million euros), 46 % less.

Second quarter closes with 6,990 million

The results presented this Thursday show, in turn, that the group created by Zuckerberg earned 7,788 million dollars (6,990.55 million euros) in the second quarter, 16.46 % more than in the equivalent period of 2022.

At the income level, Meta obtained 31,999 million dollars (28,722.46 million euros), which represented an interannual growth of 11 %. Expenses and costs increased in the second quarter to almost the same extent (10.47 %), reaching 22,607 million dollars (20,292.16 million euros).

After the publication of these results, the CEO and founder of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, has commented that the company had a “good” second quarter and that they have an “exciting” roadmap ahead with Lama 2, Threads or Reels.
