María Corina Machado widely wins opposition primaries

María Corina Machado Parisca won the opposition primaries, reported the National Primary Commission (CNdP), which at midnight presented the first partial bulletin of the results with 26.06% totalization, which represents 1,338 minutes and 601,110 votes.

According to the National Primary Commission (CNdP) Machado obtained 552,430 votes, that is, 93.13 % (irreversible trend). She is followed in voting order by the AD standard bearer, Carlos Prosperi, with 28,153 votes, 4.75 %; then Delsa Solórzano with 4,565 votes (0.77 %) and the independent Andrés Caleca who obtained 3,383 votes (0.57 %).

The now unitary presidential candidate will work on a governance project and indicates that she is prepared to overcome “obstacles,” “abuses” and adverse “forecasts.”
