The company Line Corporation announced the official launch of its own blockchain network, LINK Chain, as well as the LINK cryptocurrency.
According to the press release, both instruments were produced independently by the company that created the messaging network Line. Through this initiative, Line aims to become one of the largest and most stable companies in developing its own cryptocurrency.
LINK will reward users for interacting and participating in the LINE platform, instead of carrying out an ICO, like most crypto projects do.
These tokens will have functions within the decentralized applications (dApps) that Line Corporation will soon incorporate into the system. On the other hand it will also be possible to make content financing, buying and selling, and social games.
Likewise, the company commented that its tokens would be available at BITBOX, the exchange house of which they are owners, which would have started operations just over a month ago.
