According to White House cryptocurrency advisor David Sacks, laws regulating cryptocurrencies and stablecoins in the country could be ready in September, following the new timeline
The United States approved a new legal timeline that could lead to the passage of the Clarity and Genius Acts, the crypto market structure and stablecoin laws, respectively, in September of this year.
This was indicated by White House advisor David Sacks when referring to the timeline on his social media, highlighting that the deadline could be September 30.
In this context, “Sacks thanked Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott and Digital Assets Subcommittee Chair Cynthia Lummis for announcing a clear timeline and plan for comprehensive cryptocurrency market structure legislation.”
According to the official, this coming month will be a busy one, with the signing of bills for Genius and Clarity in the Senate, referring to the stablecoin bill and the cryptocurrency market structure bill, respectively.
