India recorded the highest economic growth in 2025
OECD data places India as the Asian nation with the highest economic growth, with a rate starting at 5 %
Data on economic growth at the end of 2025, published by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), places India as the Asian nation with the highest growth, starting at 5 %.
India is followed by China and Indonesia, although it surpasses them at the end of the fiscal year. Its growth is based on strong domestic demand and favorable external factors, without discounting the challenges it must face to achieve its development goals by 2047.
In the case of Latin America, the country with the highest economic growth is Argentina, according to the organization, with 4.2 %, thanks to investment and exports.
The OECD also highlights a favorable business environment, the dynamism of the mining and energy sectors, and less burdensome regulations.
