INAC suspended international flights as a preventive measure against COVID-19

Due to the cases of coronavirus in the country, the new restrictions reduce air operations exclusively to Turkey, Mexico and Bolivia

On Sunday, December 13th, at night, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) reported that due to instructions from the Executive, it decided to apply a new suspension of flights in the region for the prevention of COVID-19.

“We emphasize that as of this moment, only commercial air operations from and to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela with the countries of Turkey, Mexico and Bolivia will remain open,” the INAC explained in a statement.

At the same time, he added that they keep working in the fight against the coronavirus, taking the necessary measures to counteract the pandemic and complying with biosecurity protocols.

For their part, the licensed airlines are also transmitting the resulting information to their passengers.
