Hyundai’s electric Kona brings more autonomy

Its electric motor does not require engine or transmission oil changes. The new Kona also does not require maintenance since it does not have special hydraulic circuits or valves, as occurs in a conventional automatic transmission

The supply of electric vehicles in Venezuela is limited. One of the main factors that does not encourage brands to import a greater number of vehicles of this type is the price and is that they are usually more expensive than gasoline cars, comments the specialized portal Motum Magazine.

However, Hyundai’s representation in Venezuela entered this niche last year and became the pioneer brand of electric vehicles in the country. He did it with the high-end model: Kona.

This is a front-wheel drive truck type vehicle. This year 2023 it comes in two versions, one equipped with a motor that works with a 39.2KWH lithium polymer battery capable of generating 135 hp with a range of 305 kilometers.

In the other, top version, its engine works with a 64 KWH battery for 201 hp of power and allows it to travel 484 kilometers without needing to recharge. Like leaving the truck charging overnight and then driving to Coro without having to plug it in until reaching the destination.

The 2023 model allows you to roll from Caracas to Coro without recharging. A 110V outlet is enough to run this spectacular Hyundai vehicle, available in Venezuela

In different countries, stations for electric vehicle charging have already been placed on roads. In Venezuela there is still no such possibility, but the Kona has the advantage that it is rechargeable with a simple 110V plug.

No oil changes

An undoubted point in favor of these electric models is that they do not require an oil change. Hyundai Kona has brakes that allow braking energy to be used to recharge the battery and extend the range.

The exterior design of the Kona stands out for its elegance, its slim headlights are complemented by a lower line of fog bulbs, which allows clear illumination and provides a modern perspective.

Its reinforced high-strength steel structure is designed to absorb impact forces in the event of crashes.

Its comfort is noticeable when entering the cabin. It has an 8-inch screen that allows connection via Bluetooth or USB port and wireless charger for electronic devices.

Additionally, it has various high-tech safety elements, such as a blind spot sensor, stability control system, hill assist system, camera and reversing sensor, among others.

The best thing is that the Hyundai representation offers it with immediate availability and with all the support of a magnificent after-sales service in Venezuela.

It is available at Iksan Motors, a Hyundai dealership located in Las Mercedes (Caracas).
