Ethereum hits its all-time high

The second most popular cryptocurrency in the world, reached the milestone of $ 1,900 per unit this week

Ethereum, considered the second most popular cryptocurrency in the world, reached its all-time high after reaching $ 1,938 per unit.

Due to the recent interest in institutions shown in recent days, and after one day of the launch of their futures in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) financial derivatives market, the digital asset reached this milestone.

CME data shows that nearly 1,900 eth futures contracts were traded in the first five days after launch, which translates to about 92,800 ether, and is equivalent to around $ 160 million.

The increase in institutional participation in cryptocurrencies also boosted bitcoin, which is currently the largest and most popular asset in the world in its sector, breaking the record of $ 52,640 this week.
