Coinbase revenue exceeded $ 1.9 billion
The cryptocurrency exchange posted a 1.24% profit increase over the first quarter of 2021
One of the world’s largest exchanges, Coinbase, had revenues of more than $ 1.9 billion during the second quarter of 2021.
This was indicated by the company in its earnings report for the April-June period, where it is disregarded that this milestone is thanks to the more than 8.8 million users that operate within the platform.
The report also highlights that there was an increase in the purchase rate, which shows an increase of 1.24 % compared to its predecessor of 1.21 % in the first quarter of the year.
But the most remarkable thing is the net income of 1,600 million, which exceeds the 771 million registered last quarter. This figure surpassed the projections presented by the team’s analysts, which established minimums close to 569 million.
