Brazil will have a second electoral round

With these results, it is clear that the country will go to a second round, scheduled for next October 25.

Lula showed dissatisfaction with the preliminary results and launched a challenge to the population, indicating that he was starting a new campaign for his third presidential term.

In the streets, Bolsonaro’s followers celebrated this first victory, which leaves the current president’s opponent with an advantage of two million votes.
