Bitcoin mining gained profitability in June

Bitcoin mining profitability increased in June, with a 2 % increase in the value of the cryptocurrency

During the month of June, Bitcoin mining showed greater profitability compared to May. The price of the main cryptocurrency on the market experienced an increase of 2 %.

On the other hand, the network’s hashrate fell 5 % as the market adjusted to the effects of the halving, according to information from investment bank Jefferies in a report.

According to this document, a large number of BTC miners “have pivoted towards high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) hosting to diversify their income and capitalize on the growing demand for AI and cloud computing infrastructure.”

The cryptocurrency remains in a price fluctuation, while other digital currencies begin to rise, such as Ethereum, Tether, USDC and Solana.

Meanwhile, and regarding Bitcoin mining in Latin America, there are new projects that would arrive in Argentina, while fifty mining companies from Paraguay are studying migrating to other nations if the cost of electricity continues to rise in their country.
