Bank branches in Venezuela will not be open to the public next Monday, June 16, as they will remain closed in observance of the religious holiday of Saint Anthony’s Day, which is celebrated today, Friday the 13th.

The Superintendency of Banking Institutions (Sudeban) urges users of the national banking system to take precautions for the holiday and to use digital banking for transfers, mobile payments, utility bills, and other payments.

Likewise, it reiterates the availability of ATMs throughout the country, with the convenience offered by the automated banking system.

Detailed information about upcoming bank holidays can be found on the Sudeban website, so that users of the national banking system can make arrangements for their convenience.
