Bancamiga will bank more Venezuelans in 2024

Executive President Ariel José Martínez expressed that the expansion plan and the financial education program will be strengthened

Bancamiga will continue this year with its expansion and growth process based on the strengthening of its portfolio of products and services, and the opening of new agencies nationwide.

The Executive President of Bancamiga Banco Universal, Ariel José Martínez, indicated that this year, in addition to the inauguration of new agencies, it is planned to move others to larger and more modern spaces, in order to continue offering customers high standards of care.

The recent inauguration of the Lechería, Valera and Cumaná agencies, which allowed Bancamiga to reach 46 offices in the country, has meant an important boost to the expansion plan, which saw Mercabar open its doors last year, in Barquisimeto (Lara); Barrio Obrero, in Táchira; Ciudad Bolívar and Unare, in Bolívar; Valle de La Pascua, in Guárico; and Mérida, in Mérida.

He said that last week the Barquisimeto agency, which turned 15 on Friday, March 1, was also transferred to the Ciudad Crepuscular Shopping Center.

With the opening of new spaces, Bancamiga takes a solid step in the banking of more Venezuelans, through financial education, which is the north of the institution.

Bancamiga Móvil has facilitated access, approach and the provision of services

Martínez recalled that the bankarization objective was intensified in 2023 with the completion of 1,035 operations and the start of operations of Bancamiga Móvil, which has facilitated the approach and provision of financial services to those people who do not have access to banking agencies.

Among the strategic objectives for 2024, the bank will increase deposits in both bolivars and foreign currency, increase the volume of business in the credit portfolio and increase its market share.

It will also put new tools supported by technological innovation in the hands of customers, expand the positioning of the Bancamiga Debit Card and the Kids Debit Card, as well as maintain leadership in the placement of the most versatile points of sale on the market, in alliance with SITCA Integral Technological Solutions.

“In 2024, we will continue with our strategy of getting closer to clients, to Venezuelans in general, and to activities that awaken the feelings of Venezuelans, through communication initiatives such as the Conecta2 program, which last year was broadcast on our networks. from iconic places in Caracas such as the Esfera de Soto and this year it will be done from cities in the interior.”

This year, Bancamiga will once again reaffirm its social commitment to Venezuela, with the training of entrepreneurs and will carry out various actions to promote business development. It will also implement initiatives to promote education, culture and care for the environment.

“We know that we have the effort and mystique of a group of men and women, who work every day to take Bancamiga to the top of the Venezuelan financial system and thus promote a better country,” concluded the Executive President of Bancamiga.
