Avior connects to more than 30 international destinations

The airline flies to the Dominican Republic on Mondays and Thursdays, and to Mexico on Fridays and Sundays, offering travelers the possibility of reaching other countries

With its flights to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and Cancun, Mexico, Avior Airlines makes more than 30 international connections available to its customers, giving them the opportunity to reach the most important cities on the continent.

The flights Caracas-Santo Domingo-Caracas are on Mondays and Thursdays; Departures from Simón Bolívar International Airport are at 10:00 am, while from the Dominican capital takeoffs are at 5:00 pm. Passengers traveling on these routes have the opportunity to connect with New York, Port of Spain, Bogotá, Boston, San Juan, Newark, Panama and Miami.

In the case of Caracas-Cancun-Caracas, flights are scheduled on Fridays and Sundays. Departures from Maiquetía are at 9:10 am, while flights from the Mexican city leave at 1:00 pm. These routes provide the option of connecting with: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Panama, Saint Louis, Dallas, San José, Orlando, Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Detroit, Belize, Baltimore, Detroit, Phoenix, Helsinki, Salt Lake City, New York, Boston, Lima and Cincinnati.

Juan Bracamonte, Executive President of Avior Airlines, stated that by thinking of providing the best of services to its customers, the airline tried to establish in the only two routes that have operational schedules the possibility for passengers to reach the largest number of international destinations.

“We understand the need of travelers to leave and enter Venezuela, that is why we set these schedules, which allow them to make multiple international connections. With this, we expanded the country’s air connectivity, which has been so diminished in recent years”, Bracamonte said.

No penalty payment

All passengers affected by the pandemic, and who have not been able to fly due to commercial air restrictions in Venezuela, have the possibility of changing their tickets without paying a penalty. Only those who wish to fly through Cancun must cancel the fare difference.

“Several people have told me that other airlines are demanding the payment of a penalty to passengers who could not fly due to the closure of flights. The truth is I am not aware of those cases. We are not doing it, we understand that they did not fly for reasons beyond their control”, said Bracamonte.

Regarding the other destinations served by Avior Airlines (Bogotá, Medellín, Manaus and Lima), Bracamonte pointed out that “as soon as the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics considers it safe to resume commercial air operations to Colombia, Brazil and Peru, we will inform you of the reactivation of our routes to those countries; because at Avior Airlines we are ready to provide the best service to our passengers.”

During the time that commercial aviation in the country was suspended, the company did not stop working. It took the opportunity to review, update and optimize different processes; as well as to implement a robust and rigorous biosecurity protocol to guarantee safe operations for passengers and employees.
