Arturo’s fast food chain was acquired by Protinal

The Venezuelan group Protinal-Proagro acquired the fast food chain Arturo's for a relaunch throughout the national territory

The Arturo’s fast food chain, with extensive experience in Venezuela and entrenched in its clientele, was acquired by the Protinal-Proagro group, with which it maintains a solid commercial relationship as a supplier of inputs.

According to the exclusive published in Banca y Negocios, in addition to social networks, Carlos Fernández Gallardo, president of Protinal, informed that the fast food chain will be relaunched throughout the country, seeking to shore up the more than 70 branches that currently offer various chicken combos and other dishes to customers.

Fernández stressed that the companies have discussed a restructuring and relaunch plan which was well received and will be the basis for the renewal of the brand.”

This is a well-thought-out decision, supported by the experience of Protinal-Proagro, a family business with 130 years of experience, which suggests that it is a bet beyond the short term.

This, in the midst of a potential recovery of the country at the hands of the private sector, as indicated by Fernández, who considers that planning should aim for 10 or 15 years.

The idea is to maintain the branches that Arturo’s currently has throughout the country, although the opening of other stores is not ruled out. The staff currently providing their services in the fast food chain have the respect of the Del Corral de Proagro group. In this regard, Fernández stressed that keeping the focus on work will be a guarantee of continuing with the company. “We like people to feel that they can have a career with us. We come to grow, to revitalize a leading company in its segment”, he said.
