The new MacBook Pro, a redesigned Mac mini and Apple’s latest iPad Mini will hit the market in late October, according to a recent statement and information released by Bloomberg analyst Marc Gurman.
The technology company plans to launch its “updated MacBook Pro models, the redesigned Mac mini, an iMac equipped with an M4 chip and a renewed version of the iPad Mini,” in addition to other new products that could be available on November 1.
Apple has been working on its computer and tablet lines to offer improved equipment. “One example is the redesign of the Mac Mini, known internally as the J773, which promises to be the most compact desktop PC Apple has ever made, powered by the M4 processor for a better experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) features.”
The computer that is ready to enter the market is the result of the first redesign since 2010. “The MacBook Pro will be launched in 14- and 16-inch models, with M4 chips and code names J604, J614 and J616, respectively. Likewise, the new iMac, referred to by the code J623, will also have the same chip. On the other hand, the iPad Mini, under the code name J410, will be part of the devices that will be announced at the end of October, although Gurman did not specify which ones will be available in November.”
The company is already working on its new products for early 2025, when it plans to launch its new 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air models, which incorporate the M4 processor, along with “a renewed version of the iPhone SE and new 11- and 13-inch iPad Air models. In addition, new accessories are expected, including two versions of Magic Keyboards and an improved version of the AirTag.”
According to the information revealed by Gurman, Apple also plans to launch new versions of the Mac Studio and Mac Pro with M4 processors, with a probable date of mid-2025. Likewise, towards the end of 2025 Apple would be presenting the new iPhone 17 series, “along with the latest Apple Watch models and Mac computers equipped with the M5 processor, thus marking a new milestone in the company’s technological innovation.”
