Data collected by Analysis Group showed the growth of Apple's app ecosystem

Developers in the Apple app store ecosystem raised a total of $1.1 billion in revenue and sales throughout 2022, more than 90% of which was raised exclusively for developers, without Apple receiving no commission.

This was reflected in the data collected by the independent study carried out by Analysis Group entitled “The continued growth and resilience of the Apple App Store ecosystem”, which analyzes the results related to the Apple application store and shows how The “strong and resilient” track record of developer growth in the App Store has been solidified.

In this framework, Apple stressed that its application store continues to be a space of “incredible opportunities” for developers around the world, since during 2022 they managed to raise 1,100 million dollars in terms of billing and sales of their applications.

Specifically, according to the study, it indicates that last year developers generated a total of 910,000 million dollars in relation to billing and sales from the marketing of goods and services. Likewise, 109,000 million dollars were collected by way of advertising within the applications and, finally, 104,000 million dollars were generated by way of digital goods and services.

Likewise, according to the company led by Tim Cook, among all the invoices, 90 % of the profits have corresponded exclusively to developers and companies of all sizes.
