Apple presents the new iPad Air 2025

With a refined design in four colors, greater capacity and graphic power, the new Apple iPad Air arrives on the market

Apple’s tablet catalog is enriched with the launch of the new iPad Air 2025, which offer a balance between performance and design. The new devices come in two sizes: 11 and 13 inches, “a refined design, available in four colors and with full compatibility with the brand’s new accessories.”

Users will be able to appreciate greater performance and graphic power thanks to the incorporation of the M3 chip, as well as energy efficiency that will allow them to “execute more demanding tasks with improved fluidity.”

The technology company has also worked to improve the user experience with better integration of Apple Intelligence, adding “new capabilities in the photography section and a renewed Magic Keyboard.” The M3 chip brings the new devices closer to the Pro range thanks to the fact that it has been manufactured with 3-nanometer technology.

It includes an 8-core CPU, “divided into 4 high-performance and 4 efficient cores, allowing it to handle demanding workloads with optimized energy consumption.” The performance of the new iPad Air is estimated to be up to 40 % higher in tasks that require a high graphic load, such as editing 4K videos, 3D modeling, and next-generation games.

Furthermore, the inclusion of the 16-core Neural Engine increases the power for Apple Intelligence functions, “accelerating the processing of AI tasks without relying exclusively on the cloud.”

Apple has also improved the multimedia section with stereo speakers in horizontal orientation and connectivity applying the latest standards. “In its Wi-Fi version, it includes Wi-Fi 6E, which allows you to take advantage of higher speed and lower latency networks in saturated environments. For those who need connection anywhere, the WiFi + Cellular model offers compatibility with 5G, ensuring faster browsing on mobile networks, as long as coverage is available.” As for physical connections, it offers the USB-C port, for better compatibility with accessories, device charging and fast data transfer.
