INAC will implement a Biosafety Travel Passage

The Venezuelan institute will use a new modality of Biosafety Travel Passage to certify that those who enter the country are vaccinated

Recently, the National Institute of Aeronautics (INAC) announced the implementation of a new automated Biosafety Traveler Passage system, or also known as Biocheck.

This new system consists of an electronic validation process, which will be used to confirm whether the passenger is vaccinated when entering Venezuela.

As requirements, you must send a “selfie” type photo that reflects your passport, identity card or national identity document, in case you are a foreign citizen, and a certificate of vaccination against Covid whose last dose has been at least 14 days before the date of entry into the country.

This certificate will begin to be required as of August 1st, 2022, and in order to obtain it they must enter the biocheck.inac.gob.ve portal and complete the information requested there.

In the event that the passenger does not have the vaccination scheme, he must attach the negative result of a PCR-RT molecular test, with a maximum validity of 72 hours upon arrival in the country.

It is important to note that this electronic proof of the Biosafety Traveler Pass must be presented in a mandatory manner when it is checked at the airline counter, as well as before the health authorities that require it.
