Opera for iOS launches new design for its third anniversary

The new design operates with new tones in the user interface and also includes a crypto portfolio

The Opera Touch browser for iOS has a new version available that simplifies its name to Opera and introduces a new design, more organized and simple, with new tones in the user interface, which will later be complemented with usability improvements.

This browser was born “as an innovative alternative with a minimalist design,” according to the company in a statement. Now, on the occasion of its third anniversary, the company has decided to simplify its name.

The new interface maintains “its minimalist design”, but has been modernized, to be “more orderly and simple”. The changes include Opera’s corporate red color on the app icon, and a diagonal background pattern without shading or relief that adds a lower stripe, new icons, and a quick action button.

Opera incorporates a crypto portfolio

Opera for iOS also incorporates a crypto portfolio that allows users to send and receive cryptocurrencies, make blockchain transactions, and browse the decentralized web. Allows you to synchronize the crypto portfolio between devices to check the balance and transactions on smartphones or personal computers.

As part of its privacy and security enhancements, the Opera browser for iOS includes protection against the data mining used by hackers to hijack CPUs and mine cryptocurrencies, as well as a cookie dialog blocker and an ad manager.
