New LG soundbar is 3.25 cm deep

Soundbar includes a subwoofer that connects wirelessly to provide low-frequency sounds

LG unveiled this Wednesday its new LG GX sound bar, a premium device geared for 65-inch televisions that makes use of a slim design 3.25 centimeters deep.

The LG GX soundbar is designed to accompany LG’s high-end 65-inch OLED Gallery TVs, and can be used wall-mounted or attached to an included metal stand, as LG has announced in a statement.

The device, with dimensions of 15cm high, 144.6 wide and 3.25 deep, incorporates immersive Dolby Atmos sound and also with the Dolby Vision function for compatibility with audiovisual content. In addition, it provides 24-bit sound at 96 kHz frequencies, and also incorporates AI functions to automatically adapt the audio of different formats through the AI ​​Sound Pro feature.

The sound bar includes a subwoofer that connects wirelessly to provide bass and low-frequency sounds to the TV. Connectivity includes enhanced bandwidth and bluetooth audio return channel (eARC), with support for Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio formats.

The new device will launch this July in Europe, North America, Asia and other markets.
