At the fifth edition of the Expo Cámara Industrial, Fedecámaras treasurer Celso Fantinel indicated the possibility of upcoming announcements of progressive salary increases in 2026 and 2027.
According to the business leader, these announcements are part of the technical and institutional meetings that the business sector is holding with the national government.
Furthermore, he spoke of “the need to generate better incomes for Venezuelan workers and expressed confidence that these wages can be adjusted gradually in the medium term.”
According to Fantinel, the salary adjustment would not be abrupt but rather phased in, “allowing for a boost to the economy without generating a sudden impact on the productive sector.”
