Three Venezuelan cities — Caracas, Maracay, and Valencia — will host the first International Summit on Public Management and Digital Economy 2026, from October 12 to 17, where national and international specialists will analyze the current challenges facing governments in the digital transformation of public management and the economy. economics, governance, and public management, among others.
Under the theme “Public Management, GovTech, and the Digital Economy for the Governance of the Future,” the International Summit on Public Management and the Digital Economy, CIGED Venezuela 2026, will bring together international specialists and national authorities in Valencia, Maracay, and Caracas to analyze the challenges of digital transformation in public management and the economy.
The event was organized by the Benflor Group, with the support of the Ibero-American Union of Municipalities (UIM) and the Spanish educational institution ALEPH (Analysis, Leadership, Political Studies, and Humanism). It also received support from the Venezuelan Chamber of Electronic Commerce (Cavecom-e), the University of Carabobo, and the Nueva Esparta University.
The Ibero-American Conference on Digital Innovation (CIGED) in Venezuela 2026 will allow specialists from Latin America to “discuss the real impact of artificial intelligence, the development of smart governments, e-commerce, digital finance, and the new skills required of human talent in the public and private sectors.”
This summit will begin in the city of Valencia, Carabobo state, on October 12 and 13; while on October 14 and 15, the event will be held in Maracay, Aragua state. The closing of this first edition of the summit will take place in Caracas, the country’s capital, on October 16 and 17, “with discussion sessions and strategic alliances aimed at cooperation to address the challenges and leverage the potential of technology.”
