Central Bank of Venezuela reports July inflation at 19.9 %
Inflation in Venezuela reached 19.9 % in July, according to the country's Central Bank, which projects a decrease in the indicator
Inflation for July was 19.9 %, according to the report issued by the Central Bank of Venezuela on August 12. The institution projects a decrease in the indicator, which was accelerated as a consequence of the June 24 earthquakes.
The announcement was made through the BCV’s website and official channels, where it reported on “the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) and its month-on-month variation.”
The inflation variation was due to the two earthquakes that affected the distribution of goods.
