The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries published a report on Wednesday, August 12, stating that Venezuela’s crude oil production reached 1.2 million barrels per day in July.
This figure represents a 1.09 % increase compared to June. “So far this year, its production has increased by 29.8 %, from 924,000 bpd in January.”
According to industry experts, both Venezuela and the United States are betting that the increase in production will continue throughout the rest of the year thanks to agreements signed with transnational companies.
