Venemergencia Air takes off in support of Venezuelans
The Venemergencia Group decided to advance the activation of its aeromedical capabilities to provide comprehensive support to those affected by the earthquakes that occurred on June 24 in our country
The launch of Venemergencia Air has transcended its original planning, becoming a mission of immediate medical assistance. Given the critical situation resulting from the recent earthquakes in the country, the Grupo Venemergencia has decided to expedite the activation of its aeromedical capabilities to provide comprehensive support to those affected by the earthquakes that occurred on June 24th.
At Venemergencia, we understand that our institutional responsibility goes beyond simply providing services; it is a permanent commitment to serving the Venezuelan people. In times of emergency, our logistical and operational capacity is placed entirely at the disposal of the victims, their families, and government agencies.
Operational capacity at the service of the country
With the goal of ensuring an efficient response to highly complex emergencies, we have immediately activated our specialized fleet:
Helicopters: We have two Bell LongRanger 206L helicopters, based in Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar State, equipped for rescue operations and access to areas with limited infrastructure.
Fixed-wing aircraft: Two Learjet 31 aircraft, based at the Caracas-Charallave Airport, are dedicated to specialized medical transport, ensuring international standards of safety and speed.
Strategic coordination and deployment
Currently, our technical and medical team is working closely with Civil Protection in La Guaira, the Armed Forces, aeronautical authorities, and personnel stationed in Maiquetía. This inter-institutional synergy is fundamental for the execution of our first helimedical transport, thus consolidating the deployment of Venezuela’s First Aeromedical Command Center.
