YouTube now requires a minimum of 500 subscribers for community posts

The video platform halved what is required to perform this and other actions such as creating surveys, publishing images, among others

YouTube cut the minimum number of users it requires for an account to post to its subscribers through the community tab, from the previous 1,000 to 500.

The platform assured that currently millions of creators already use community publications, with which they can conduct surveys, post images and GIFs and more, as indicated in a support statement.

In addition, these creators will also be able to access the latest functions to improve these publications, such as detailed metrics with YouTube Analytics, as well as schedule content or publish multiple images on Android.

This new change will become effective as of October 12 of this year, as indicated by the company through the statement.
