WhatsApp uses AI bot to provide user support

The old form for the first contact between the WhatsApp user and the support department has been replaced by a friendlier, more direct and faster service thanks to the use of artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence, through a user support bot, has arrived on Meta’s messaging network, WhatsApp. Responses are now immediate and less boring than through the traditional form.

Meta is making progress in its goal of responding more efficiently to user requests on its social networks. In the case of WhatsApp, it now has an AI bot to provide assistance with various customer questions.

With this advancement, responses to WhatsApp user queries are in natural language, as if it were a human. Of course, if the bot cannot provide a conclusive answer, the customer can expect to be assisted by a human agent, although the process will be slightly slower.

In this way, the old support form is now in the hands of AI, through a bot that responds more quickly and efficiently within the app.
